In 2017, Russian Research Institute of Floriculture and Subtropical Crops carried out scientific research on 10 extended subjects. The Institute's genetic collections number 2 500 cultivar samples of flower-ornamental, subtropical and southern fruit crops. 9 new cultivars of flower crops were transferred to the State Cultivar Committee of the Russian Federation. 4 methods, a study guide, guidance, an atlas and scientific bases were prepared as completed projects. The research results are reflected in 162 scientific papers.
