The paper presents the analysis results of publications in the journal "Subtropical and ornamental gardening," from 2013 to 2017. During this period 533 papers were published. there was a signifiant increase in publications in 2017 compared to the previous years. The journal includes 10 chapters reflcting the main activities of the Institute. The largest number of papers is published in the Chapter "Introduction and cultivar study", which is 28,5 per cent from the total number of publications. Having analyzed the papers published in the journal for a five-year period, we can say that the authors take a responsible approach to the issue of publishing the results of their research work.
