The paper informs about a long-term comprehensive study of raspberry collection samples from domestic breeding, which were taken from Krymsk Experimental-Breeding Station – Branch Russian Institute of Plant Growing from the collection of Plant Genetic Resources, within the framework of the state assignment (budgetary project № 0662-2019-0004). The given study identified the sources of economic-valuable signs. Their inclusion into breeding programs for high-tech cultivars creation made it possible to get two new cultivars – ‘Boyarynya’ and ‘Antey’ (remontant), surpassing those available in register of the Russian Federation and admitted to cultivation in the southern horticulture zone of Russia. It was established that biotechnological methods with their modification in relation to a particular crop allows us to significantly speed up breeding process, reduce testing and introduction directly into the new cultivars production
