The paper presents the state of citrus crops development in Tajikistan. Based on the analysis, the prospects for developing horticulture and citrus growing field from an economic point of view are shown. Soil and climate conditions, as well as developed technologies and extensive experience in growing citrus crops (lemon) in trenches will create a highly profitable super-intensive agricultural sector in Tajikistan.
