Scrubs (Shrub, Modern Shrub) are the class of rose cultivars from the Modern garden group recognized in 1976 by the World Federation of Rose Society. In gardening on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Territory, garden roses from the shrub group are represented by a small number of cultivars, not counting their resistance and diversity. The collection includes 21 cultivars from the Modern Shrub group. The most widely represented roses are with remontant (66.7 % of the total number of cultivars) and long-lasting flowering (28.5 %). According to the flower colour, the basis of the collection (61.9 %) is the cultivars of pink and orange scales, 7 and 6 respectively. The majority of forms are with dense double and double flowers, three cultivars are with semi-double flowers (‘Knock Out’, ‘Ferdy’, ‘Lovely Meilland’), a single cultivar ‘Bassino’ has simple flowers. The cultivars ‘Sangria’ and ‘Knock Out’ are resistant to the main phytopathogens. Forms resistant to the main pests of garden roses in the region are ‘Sangria’, ‘Knock out’, ‘Ferdi’, ‘‘Baby bakkara’, ‘Erik Tabarly’, ‘Honoré de Balzac’, ‘Deborah’, ‘Bremer Stadtmusicanten’, ‘Cinderella’ and ‘Les Quatre Saisons’.
