Actinidia deliciosa and other species belonging to the genus Actinidia Lindl. is grown for its eating and nutritional value, as well as its high antioxidant capacity in many parts of the world. The conditions of the Russian humid subtropics, due to a combination of natural and climatic factors, are a unique and the only region where Actinidia deliciosa is industrially cultivated. The plants of this crop were imported to Russia in 1987, which aroused great interest among farmers and amateur gardeners. The object of research: micro-shoots of Actinidia deliciosa ‘Hayward’ cultivars and A. arguta Planch species. The aim of the research is to study the influence from various types and concentrations of auxins on the induction peculiarities of Actinidia Lindl. rhizogenesis. It is shown that at the rooting stage, species and cultivar features for each type and concentration of exogenous growth regulators were established. Differences in the realization of morphogenetic potential in the studied genotypes in vitro were revealed. For ‘Hayward’ cultivar, the highest morphometric indicators and the percentage of micro-shoots rooting (79.8 %) were recorded on a medium with a NAA content (1 mg/l). For A. arguta, the best results were obtained after reducing NAA concentration by half (93.9 %). It was found that among the studied factors, genetic features have a greater influence on rhizogenesis (51 %); less influence was found from concentration of auxins (IAA, NAA) (23 %) and from the interaction of factors (21 %), while the share of the random factor’s influence was 5 %. A strong correlation dependence (r = 0.9) was revealed between the induction of rhizogenesis and the shoots’ length of Actinidia representatives.
