The development of new territories, their landscaping is inextricably linked with the introduction process. The new introduced species should be regarded not only as an economic solution, but also as an extensive material for the study of flora in conditions different from the original natural, as well as the process of species integration into a new ecosystem. It is also necessary to systematically evaluate and maintain existing dendrological collections for further study and application of certain species in decorative gardening and landscaping. This paper analyzes the history of park construction and the introduction experience of using Eucalyptus sp species in the humid subtropics of Russia, covering the eastern coast of the Black Sea. Eucalypts (Eucalyptus L'her.) are an extensive genus of mainly evergreen, woody species of the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae). According to the modern taxonomic classification system of flowering plants, it includes more than 700 species distributed mainly in Australia and Tasmania, with a small number of species in the Malesian floristic region. These unique plants, thanks to their rapid growth, beautiful crown architectonics, and evergreen foliage, are an excellent material for garden and landscape construction in Sochi Black Sea region. As a result of a long-term introduction search, it was possible to identify a list of species capable of growing and developing in a humid subtropical climate. For landscaping the coastal zone of Sochi Black Sea region, Eucalyptus × antipolitensis, E. cinerea, E. dalrympleana, E. gunnii are recommended for widespread use; Eucalyptus obliqua, E. perriniana, E. stricta, E. viminalis are proper for using in limited quantities in favorable microclimatic conditions and with appropriate placement in the structure of green spaces. In order to expand the range of decorative dendroflora within Sochi Black Sea region, it is recommended to attract eucalyptus species native to the island of Tasmania and the mountainous regions of Victoria (southeastern Australia), characterized by a cooler and wetter climate.
