Message from the Editor-in-Chief

Dear colleagues, authors and readers!

I am glad to welcome you on the website of the journal “Subtropical and ornamental horticulture” of the Federal Research Centre the Subtropical Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FRC SSC of RAS).

I hope that here you will find all the information you need about our journal, how to become an author and/or read the papers published.

The journal of our Centre has been published since 1914. For almost a century of its existence, it has repeatedly changed the name and cover, but the main task was to publish researching results in the field of subtropical horticulture, floriculture and ornamental horticulture. In 2011, the editorial team decided to approve the modern name - “Subtropical and ornamental horticulture”. Since 2012, this journal has been a subscription edition and included in the directory of the Agency "Rospechat", as well as presented in the Russian Science Citation Index, and has a certificate of mass media registration.

Since 2015, it has been issued 4 times a year.

In 2018, the journal was assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) in the Crossref system.
